3 spiritual cleanses to change your life
Everyone has their problems. But whatever your situation today, illness, poverty, bereavement, without a […]
Have you ever felt a heavy body, unexplained sleepiness, tiredness, and even physical pain for no apparent reason? Well, know that these are some of the signs that you are suffering from energetic attacks, or have been in an environment very charged with bad vibrations. And to reverse these situations, there is nothing better than taking a good spiritual baths and cleanses with your favorite herbs!
You may not know this, but there are reports dating back more than 3000 years, where the ancient Egyptians already attributed special properties to the spiritual baths. In a closer reality, bathing with herbs is considered a legacy of the slaves, who used to do it as a ritual before religious ceremonies.
In general, these were rituals that used the purifying power of water in combination with certain sacred and energetic properties of plants. With this, it would be possible to annul bad fluids, cleanse dense energies, block envy, and close the body against all evils.
Nowadays, many of these traditions have been maintained. However, additional ingredients, such as coarse salt, have been added to the baths. In this case, salt in contact with water, chemically speaking, results in a powerful energetic conductor.
Some people, when they want a more superficial, everyday cleansing, use only warm water and rock salt in their spiritual baths. However, this preparation becomes even more powerful with the addition of some herbs – which many of you already have at home.
The important thing is that you know what kind of energy you want to “discharge”. Know how to identify what you are feeling, and what the vibration of those around you is. Sometimes you may think that you are the victim of envy, when in fact the biggest villain is your own thoughts. Or you may even start to feel bad when you enter your house; a situation that calls for a fumigation and other types of cleansing rituals.
Self-awareness and observation is an important process that precedes the baths. But if you are not sure about something, you can turn to herbs as a form of precaution.
Now that you know a little about the origins and purposes of a spiritual bath, it’s time to get down to business. First of all, the main ingredient is an amount of warm water. This volume can vary from 1 to 5 liters.
Next, if you need to prepare a more powerful bath, add a handful of coarse salt. Finally, add some branches of the chosen herb(s), preferably fresh ones – if this is not possible, you can use dried herbs.
Once the water has boiled and you have added the desired ingredients, turn off the heat and let the contents infuse for 10 minutes.
After your bath has infused for 10 minutes, make sure the temperature is good to the touch of your skin. Then take a hygienic bath, with soap and water, and then pour the contents of the bath over your body, from the neck down. Make movements with your arms as if you were cleaning a bran from your clothes, repeating on your arms, legs, and torso.
As you do this, mentalize what you want to eliminate with this bath. Think about the things that are not working out, the people who envy you, or the environments you no longer want to be a part of.
At the end, don’t rinse. Let the contents of the bath dry naturally, or gently pat the towel to remove excess water. Always wear clean, bright clothes and exercise positive thinking after bathing.
Taking a “just in case” bath will do you no harm, but you need to take a few moments to reflect on what is really going on. This process will not only help you to identify the problems, but also to find tangible, energetic solutions for them (such as the choice of herbs, for example).
Now, if you have identified the issue to be worked on, go easy on the baths. Many, if not all, of them have the power to really discharge the dense energies present in your body and spirit. However, if you repeat these rituals at a very high frequency (such as once a week) they can have the opposite effect, and drain even good energies.
Whenever you do a spiritual bath and cleanses, wait at least 15 to 20 days before repeating or testing a new formula. And never forget: most of the spiritual bath and cleanses should ALWAYS be taken from the neck down, especially those that contain SALT in their composition. It is believed that washing the head can interfere and damage the individual’s energy, including unbalancing the chakras.
Lighter bath and cleanses, without salt and with protective properties, however, can be taken over the entire body, such as the baths with bay leaf, rosemary, arruda, lavender (the purple color of its flowers is associated with transformation), and other herbs.
Below, we have listed some options of herbs that you can use in your spiritual bath. Remember that you can combine two or more of them, according to your needs or the intensity of the situation you are going through.
While basil is powerful in cleansing the negative energies that are hindering your life, the herb also provides an extra layer of protection, allowing you to come out of your bath clean and protected against further energetic attacks.
St. George’s Sword is one of the most effective plants for spiritual and energetic cleansing. Cut the leaf into 7 pieces to activate its properties, allowing it to ward off the evil eye and protect against dense energies.
Also used for blessing, rue is a powerful herb to ward off envy, negative energies and open paths. Excessive bathing with rue can drain your energy, so be careful!
Widely used to attract love, prosperity and health, Guinea is an extremely effective herb in the spiritual baths. Its properties not only allow energetic cleansing, but revitalize and open paths.
This is an herb with a mild effect, but provides great energetic and emotional impact. Capable of calming and easing anxieties, the herb opens paths and removes obstacles especially focused on love or health.
The sage bath can be considered one of the most powerful baths in this category. Capable of cleansing, protecting, and strengthening intuition, the herb blinds against spells and strengthens the health of the one who uses it.
Certainly one of the most versatile baths, rosemary attracts a lot of positive energy, as well as love, prosperity, and protection. Besides cleansing the body from the evil eye and envy, the herb opens paths and provides good vibrations.
Responsible for aligning the chakras and recovering energies, the mint bath is highly recommended for matters involving the heart and professional life. With this bath, you can dispel fears and worries, as well as financial problems.
